Aging decks don’t always need a total rebuild to get a fresh start. For this project, we took on both a rear deck and a two-level front deck that were worn out and in serious need of redecking and structural care.

After completely stripping away the old surface boards down to the frames, we performed targeted repairs to reinforce the existing structure. The homeowner wanted a natural, low-maintenance finish, choosing cedar for its durability and its ability to weather over time into a classic, silvery New England patina. We laid all-new cedar decking, built two new sets of steps for safe access, and finished the spaces with sleek steel handrails for a clean, modern contrast.
