To complete their cozy living room update, this Malden homeowner wanted a warm, handcrafted focal point for their new fireplace. We designed and built a custom wood mantel to frame the hearth, bringing rich texture and classic character right to the center of the room.
To maximize the room’s footprint, we also fitted three custom floating shelves into an adjacent architectural nook. Sized precisely to match the mantel’s style and fit the tight alcove space, the new shelving offers clean, seamless storage for books and display pieces without cluttering the room.
