Queer-owned, client-focused: Respecting your identity, respecting your home

About Our Carpentry Services
Hi, I’m Su. With over 25 years of hands-on experience, I’ve dedicated my career to tackling unique projects that require creative problem-solving skills and a thoughtful touch. As a queer-female business owner, I pride myself on bringing fresh perspectives, clear communication, and an approachable, collaborative style to every client.
I believe that every project is an opportunity to create something beautiful and functional. My approach combines traditional techniques with modern design, ensuring that each piece not only meets your expectations but exceeds them. Whether you need a simple repair or a complex custom build, I am here to help you every step of the way, ensuring a seamless experience from start to finish.
When I’m not running my permaculture-based landscaping company, you can usually find me at my workshop in Bolton, where I am passionately working on my 18th-century home. And on the rare occasion I’m not working with my hands? I’m out running in the woods, recharging in the natural world that I love to protect.
Contact me today to discuss your carpentry needs and explore how we can work together to bring your vision to life. I look forward to collaborating with you on your next project!
Alongside my carpentry work, I spent years owning and operating an organic landscape company. That background gives me a deep understanding of natural site management, soil health, and how exterior woodwork interacts with the environment around it. Whether I’m building custom raised beds, designing outdoor structures, or repairing decks, I apply those same eco-friendly, sustainable principles—ensuring every project respects your land, looks natural, and stands up to the elements for the long haul.
